Our Commitment
-
At Brook Aesthetics we are committed to treating every client with dignity and respect. We aim to make our services as accessible as possible for everyone, in line with the Equality Act 2010.
-
We are a small, husband-and-wife, home-based skin and aesthetics clinic in Lisburn run by David (Pharmacist Independent Prescriber) and Jennifer (Skincare Specialist). Because we operate from our family home, there are some physical limitations to access.
-
Physical Access to Our Clinic Our treatment rooms are located upstairs in a private residential property at 1 Thornbrook, Lisburn, BT27 5LW.
-
Unfortunately, the clinic is not wheelchair accessible and there is no lift or step-free entrance. The stairs have a handrail, but they may not be suitable for clients with significant mobility issues, those using wheelchairs, or anyone who finds stairs difficult.
-
We are happy to discuss alternative arrangements in advance. Where possible we can offer:
-
Telephone or video consultations
-
Treatment planning and prescriptions without an in-clinic visit
-
Assistance with items to and from the car (one person only)
-
Home visits for certain services (subject to suitability and insurance)
-
Please contact us before booking if you have any mobility, hearing, vision, or other access requirements so we can make reasonable adjustments.
-
Website Accessibility This website (built on Wix) is designed to be as accessible as possible. We have taken steps to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2 Level AA) where we can, including:
-
Clear headings and readable fonts
-
Alternative text for images
-
Keyboard navigation support
-
High-contrast options
-
We know some parts may not yet be perfect (for example, certain interactive elements or older PDFs). We are actively reviewing and improving the site on an ongoing basis.
-
If you experience any difficulty using the website, please let us know and we will assist you (for example by providing information in a different format).
-
