Terms and Conditions Brook Aesthetics Lisburn Last updated: 21 March 2026
 

1. Who We Are

Brook Aesthetics is a small, husband-and-wife, home-based skin and aesthetics clinic located at 1 Thornbrook, Lisburn, BT27 5LW, Northern Ireland. We are run by David (Pharmacist Independent Prescriber) and Jennifer (Skincare Specialist).

By booking an appointment or receiving treatment with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
 

2. Appointments and Bookings
 

  • All appointments are strictly by prior arrangement only.
     

  • We use the Fresha booking system and/or direct contact (phone/email).
     

  • You must provide accurate contact and medical information at the time of booking.
     

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking if we feel it is in your best interest or if you have not provided the required information.
     

3. Age Restriction All clients must be 18 years or over. We do not provide aesthetic treatments or prescriptions to anyone under 18.
 

4. Deposits and Payments
 

  • A non-refundable deposit may be required for certain treatments (especially injectables, programmes, or high-value bookings).
     

  • Full payment is due at the time of treatment unless otherwise agreed.
     

  • We accept card payments via Fresha or in person.
     

  • Late payment or non-payment may result in cancellation of future appointments.
     

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
 

  • Please give at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling.
     

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the treatment cost (or loss of deposit).
     

  • We reserve the right to charge the full fee for repeated late cancellations or no-shows.
     

6. Consultations and Prescriptions
 

  • All injectable treatments (Botox, dermal fillers, etc.) and prescription-only medicines require a face-to-face consultation with our Pharmacist Independent Prescriber.
     

  • A prescription is only issued if we believe the treatment is safe and suitable for you.
     

  • We may refuse treatment at our professional discretion.
     

7. Treatment Information and Medical Disclaimer
 

  • Results vary from person to person and cannot be guaranteed.
     

  • All treatments carry risks and possible side effects. These will be fully explained during your consultation and you will be asked to sign a consent form.
     

  • It is your responsibility to disclose your full medical history, medications, allergies, and any changes in your health before treatment.
     

  • You must follow all aftercare instructions provided. Failure to do so may affect results and increase risk of complications.
     

  • We are not liable for any adverse reactions caused by your failure to disclose information or follow aftercare.
     

8. Photographs Before-and-after photographs may be taken for your records and treatment monitoring.

These will only be used for marketing or social media with your explicit written consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.
 

9. Refunds and Complaints
 

  • Once a treatment has been performed, no refunds will be given.
     

  • If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care, please contact us immediately so we can address it.
     

  • We have a formal complaints procedure and will respond to all complaints within 5 working days.
     

10. Liability

  • Our total liability to you is limited to the cost of the treatment provided.
     

  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss (e.g. loss of earnings, travel costs).
     

  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
     

11. Accessibility

Our clinic is located upstairs in a private residential home and is not wheelchair accessible. Please see our separate Accessibility Statement for details of reasonable adjustments we can make.
 

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
